Brian Veltri, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Veltri grew up on Long Island, New York and is a 2007 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at U.C. Davis. Having worked in an animal hospital since he was in high school, Dr. Veltri knew that a career as a veterinarian was his dream. After graduating from college in 1999, he moved to California and completed a Master’s degree in animal nutrition. Dr. Veltri has an interest in all aspects of canine and feline medicine, but has a special interest in nutrition. When not working, Dr. Veltri enjoys camping, travelling with his family and coaching his two young sons in baseball and soccer.

Shannon Veltri, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Shannon Veltri grew up in Orange County, California. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology at UC Santa Cruz and continued on to graduate from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She has practiced as a small animal general practitioner for the past 15 years. She is excited to be a part of the Redwood team and brings a strong interest in internal medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Veltri is busy with her two young sons and enjoys traveling with her family.

Erin Wright, VMD
Veterinarian

Although a California native, Dr. Wright graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Fresh out of school, she joined the Redwood team in 2004. Dr. Wright enjoys all aspects of canine and feline medicine and has a special interest in veterinary dentistry. She also enjoys fostering the unique bond that exists between people and their pets. She has little time left for hobbies after chasing after her two young children, but when she does, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and bird watching with her husband.

John Huebner, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Huebner completed his veterinary studies at the University of California, Davis. Except for the first year or so out of school, he has spent his enter 37-year veterinary career at Redwood Veterinary Hospital. He practiced full time and served as co-owner of the practice helping shepherd its growth and popularity. Now, while no longer an owner, Dr. Huebner serves as “Clinician Emeritus” and limits his clinical work to diagnostic abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound). In that role he works closely with and supports his colleagues on the “front lines”. Dr. Huebner has extensive training and experience in ultrasound, while at the same time he maintains contacts with imaging specialists and cardiologists when cases call for specialty intervention. He balances his passion for veterinary medicine with distance running, time with family, and adventures in the great outdoors

Sian Wallace, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Sian Wallace obtained her BA in biology from Mount Holyoke College in 1998 and her DVM degree from UC Davis, school of veterinary medicine, in June 2009. At graduation she was awarded membership in Phi Zeta-Lambda Chapter, the national scholastic honor society in veterinary medicine for graduating in the top 10% of her class. She has special interests in ophthalmology, internal medicine and ultrasonography. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Anne Chiruvolu, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Anne Chiruvolu has been a member of the Vallejo/Benicia community since 2017. Originally from New England, she has been working with animals since the age of 14 when she was hired by the local SPCA. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland before moving west to California. After working for several years in education she pivoted to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, completing the Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions Program at UC Berkeley and subsequently graduating with honors from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She shares her home with her husband, their young children, the sweetest rescued Lab/Shepherd mix, two fancy rats, backyard chickens, and a tank of freshwater fish and frogs. When not at work she enjoys getting outdoors, hiking with her family and playing endless games of fetch with their dog.
STEPHANIE WOODFILL, BVSc
Dr. Woodfill hails from Minnesota by way of UW-Madison, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Zoology, and New Zealand, where she completed veterinary school in November 2021. Dr. Woodfill is excited to learn and grow alongside the staff and clients of Redwood in her first job as a veterinarian! When she’s not working, Dr. Woodfill enjoys exploring the Bay Area with her two dogs, reading, and playing video games.
